Photograph

Photographed in a small church in Guatemala the plaques are tombstones on the wall which speak to the love and gratitude for the lives of those departed. Interestingly, the date, 1939 (the start of WWII) hangs unattached to a particular name- a sign, perhaps, of all the lives lost, or danger if peace is not guarded, and a reminder to never take life, especially the lives of those around us, for granted.
