Under the persecution of England in the 1700's, the Morse's got on a ship to to the new world to find a new life and freedom. Religion and one's beliefs were as polarizing as the color of one's skin or political beliefs back then. The Irish and Scots were known as the white N-word at the time. Unfortunately the plight and hardships of immigrants has been hijacked by those that lay claim to the title based upon the color of one's skin.
Here is a photo of one proud ancestor to the persecuted immigrants that sacrificed everything to get on a ship to the new world, and made a life and success of it.
